Suspended Moss

Paris, 2015

This office block in the heart of Paris has several courtyards. The project here is to vegetalise them while preserving the ground space. The plant installation's goal is to bring permanent natural benefits to the building's occupants whilst at the same time optimising luminosity. To this end, moss was chosen for the suspensions, requiring as it does little light and minimal upkeep while guaranteeing coverage for the entire height of the building. The aerial garden required a completely new technical approach in order to give the illusion that it is falling from the sky.
