Chaumont-sur-Loire, 2011

The precuationary garden, 'L'Envers du Décor', was presented at the 2011 Chaumont-sur-Loire International Garden Festival where the theme was 'Gardens of the Future, or the art of happy biodiversity'.
Inspired by the Gustave Courbet painting, 'The Origin of the World', I wanted to represent a vegetation impulsion and the risk we run if our desires are not tempered by our conscience. 'Fripes Florales' ('Floral Thrift') – Flowers made from salvaged clothes.
